Work force reporting is important for business, but not always desired by the employees. Trikker Service makes the reporting simplier for personnel. Mobile phone as reporting tool is light to carry with, and reporting tags can be distributed to all required locations indoor and outdoor, including cars and other vehicles.
Trikker Service can be integrated into company's existing IT system. Both ways supervisors can follow work force's activities and support needs in real time. Trikker Service brings cost efficiency and added value to the customer through most accurate real time data and improved service.
Reporting data is sent from the field be retrieved by Trikker Service via Internet wireless. Two way data communication between Trikker Server and mobile phone passes the GSM/GPRS network quickly and reliably in text format. No customer site IT installations are required.
Trikker Service allows to add and modify reporting features. Perhaps new certain customer sites or increasing number of users may require new reporting or administration tools. Usually such new features can be implemented without any service breaks.
The service platform is also flexible for new terminals. The use of new compatible NFC phones can be implemented smoothly, where as the old phones are still in simultaneous use until the end of the life cycle. E.g. a Trikker Service solution originally developed for Nokia 5140i NFC, needed only small phone application update to be used with Nokia 6131 NFC or Nokia 6212 Classic.
ToP Tunniste has developed RFId based mobile field force reporting solutions since 2002. Trikker Service is based on Nokia NFC/RFId enabled mobile phones, ToP Tunniste's Trikker tags and Trikker Server back-end system.
First launch of Trikker solution was year 2003. The Trikker Service reference cases include field force reporting solutions for security patrolling, in-store shelfing and waste management. ToP Tunniste has also developed mobile NFC clients and developed system components for other integrators' solutions as a trusted partner.

Beside field force reporting, the NFC enabled mobile phones are and can be used also for several other purposes. Touching tag eases many actions such as browsing web pages, making phone call, sending SMS and sharing contact information. Mobile payment is a future solution for NFC mobiles.
With increasing NFC mobile phone penetration the number of consumer related touchable services increase. SmartParking piloted this by allowing easy to use street side parking payment and access to garage.
