My.Parking - RFId Solution for Smart Parking

Using RFId in car parking makes the parking easier and more convinient for driver, which means increases service level and happier customers. Radio frequency identification (RFId) is used to automatically collect data of parking activity. The technology allows to automatically identify vehicles and persons. This is used to automate the operations of gates and to simplify the payment.

Automated Identification

With My.Parking every vehicle has unique RFId tag and the parking areas - or garages - have RFId reader devices on entrace and exit lanes. The vehicle identification data together with gate/lane id and time stamp is stored to database.

When a vehicle with RFId tag arrives My.Parking system verifies if this tag allows parking in parking facility, and e.g. opens the gate or controls signal lights.

Payment

RFId can be also used to collect parking fees. The access to parking facility with a tag can be based on monthly fee, or each visit can be charged separately.

The payment can be also arranged using NFC enabled mobile phones (Near Field Communication). The payment options include front payment, post payment, credit card and phone bill.
