Case: Fazer Confectionery (Fazer Makeiset Oy)
Fazer Confectionery aimed to develop their mobile work force's reporting. Previously the merchandisers were filling manually paper form reports for the work time on sites, time for travelling, kilometres and other expenses. Paper reports were sent to line management weekly. The process needed lot of manual work in several phases.
There was need to for an electronic time stamp and expenses logging solution for the merchandisers. This should include the on-line sending of reports to a Web based back office system for the Line management to see and process. Furthermore summarised data would be sent to payroll, travel expenses and statistic system.
The solution is based on Trikker Service platform by ToP Tunniste. The personnel can use NFC enabled mobile phones and Web tool to collect the reports. NFC tags make the mobile phone based reporing quicker and easier. Reporting is done as part of the work as simple as possible, and all data is available real-time for the line management. Until aproval the reports are handled in Trikker Service, and then summarized reports are sent to Fazer Confectionery's Cognos system.
