The following applies to Mifare 1k/4k labels, tags and cards supplied by ToP Tunniste / ToP Shop netstore and with standard (un-changed) keys.
Hardware and Software Environment
These instructions are initially created and tested for Trikker-1k labels, ISOStart version 7.03.00 and NFC Encoder (NFCENC-USB-1.0.01).
Check first the following setting:
CFG5: Anticollision at Configuration
Set "ONT" to value "all transponders will be sent to the host"
Reading process
Reading Mifare 1k and 4k tags need the following steps for each sector (consisting of 4 blocks). All commands are found from ISOStart Commands tree.
1. Inventory
Mode: New Inventory Requested
Double click "Inventory" or Click "Send"
2. Select
ARD: Addressed
UID: Select uid of the current tag
Click "Send" (after initial select just double click "Select")
3. Authent Mifare
ADR: Selected
KL: Key from reader (see at below how to set the Mifare keys of required)
Key-Type: Key A
DB-Adr: (block to authenthicate) 0, 4, 8 etc to 64 for Mifare 1k (0, 4, 8 etc to 256 for Mifare 4k)
Click "Send"
4. Read Multiple Blocks
ADR: Selected
Address: (previously authenthicated block) 0, 4, 8 etc to 64 for Mifare 1k (0, 4, 8 etc to 256 for Mifare 4k)
No of Blocks: 4
Click: Send
Repeat the steps 1-4 for each set of four blocks.
Please note: After every failure or miss-typing on process, start again with Inventory.
How to set the Mifare keys
If the Mifare keys are not yet set on reader, you may use "Key from protocol" and type the key, or set the keys.
To set keys on reader select "Write MiFare Reader Keys" from Commands tree. Select "KEY A", Key-address 0 (for default read key A) and type key "FF FF FF FF FF FF" (for default read key A).
